When I first saw the challenge I thought, great, where am I going to get some shots of horses. Well, a little trip to Williamsburg Virginia was already on the agenda for Regular Guy and Armywife, not to mention a trip to the historic area was on the menu. I got this shot on a beautiful day as we walked around the area. We even managed to squeeze in a trip across the James River on a ferry ride. Historic Williamsburg

We walked and walked all over the historic area of Williamsburg. A nice lady took our picture while we still had energy. After our walking tour, we headed to Jamestown to catch the ferry. The ferry took us across the river to Surry and we had a picnic lunch at a State Park. Back to the ferry and the 15 minute ride across the James River. The ride was very nice and relaxing.
The second shot is looking down the road. There were still many good fall colors to be seen. I’m sure it was very nice just a few weeks ago.

On The Road

Armywife and I hit the road for a mini vacation. We are now in Williamsburg, VA for a few days. The weather is great. We received almost 6 inches of rain this past week from IDA. I can’t remember having such nice fall colors in our area in years. The photo below is a tree outside of our hotel in Williamsburg. We stuffed ourselves at the New York Deli after checking in. Cauzie and Hubby will join us tomorrow to tour the town and go on a Ghost Walk.
The dogs and cat are in the loving hands of their Grandpa. We watched the movie Up on Saturday. It was a hoot. The “talking” dog reminded us so much of Dutch.

This is a III Cent Piece, yes, 3 cents. My Great Grandmother gave it to me when I was a boy. It was given to her when she was a little girl. A Halloween for All

Wow, it has been a while since I’ve posted or taken any photos. Enough of that already.
Armywife and I went out for a ride yesterday and got some good shots, along with a nice “country” ride. We did manage some Halloween pictures too. Our Hairy Kids. A Saturday with good weather = good turnout. The dogs (that includes the cat) sat at the door and wagged tails and occasionally barked at the kids. A few of the kids wanted to let them out and pet them.

More Love Goin’ On

Samsung TV meet Samsung surround and Samsung Blu Ray Player along with wireless Internet – they were all in love before the connections were made. Swapped blu ray players and now everything likes everything else, even get to watch NetFlix over the wireless connection, listen to Pandora Radio (whatever that is) and does firmware updates by itself.
Pepper and The Mechanic are happy with the other player and TV. For all that know what I’m talking about, the HUGE TV finally is outta this family. I dropped it at Hope Harbor today for a donation. Still works great, but it must weigh close to 200 pounds with no where to grip it. I said I wouldn’t touch it again, but I did. The Chinese food was good too while we hooked everything up at the “Farm.”

My new MacBook Pro found Mighty Mouse and my iPhone and they all said “I Love You.” Too bad microsoft can’t learn something from these types of system (itunes, iphone, palm, etc.)
